Data sources, licences and attribution
Each capability and delivered artefact identifies the sources actually used, their available dates or versions and any source-specific attribution. This page states the rules that apply across the catalogue.
Source provenance
Outputs may combine public-sector environmental and property information, remotely sensed terrain, third-party services and Aegaea-derived analysis. Provenance records distinguish source evidence from Aegaea calculations and report unavailable evidence rather than substituting a fabricated value.
Currency and coverage
Update cycles differ by publisher and geography. A source may be historical, modelled, incomplete, generalised or unavailable for a site. The capability catalogue and artefact state the typical update interval, coverage, resolution and material limitations.
Licence and onward use
Buying an output does not transfer ownership of source datasets. Standard rights permit use of the delivered output for the stated customer purpose. Raw-data redistribution, resale, sublicensing, bulk republication and partner use may require source attribution or a separate reviewed licence.
Attribution and publisher status
Customers must retain attribution included with an output. Reference to a publisher or dataset does not imply that the publisher endorses Aegaea, the analysis or the customer's use of it.
